The Account Manager (AGM) is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term
relationships with key customers. You will act as a liaison between clients and internal
teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs. The
goal is to drive sustainable growth through boosting sales, forging strong relationships
with clients, and managing accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account matters.
Resolve customer complaints and queries effectively to enhance satisfaction.
Build deep client trust by understanding their needs and aligning our solutions to meet
those needs.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and work to increase client
spend.
Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with the sales team.
Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure timely and
successful delivery of services or products.
Prepare reports on account status, project progress, and client satisfaction.
Work closely with the project management team to execute account activities according to deadlines.
Strategic Planning and Analysis:
Conduct periodic reviews of account performance, market trends, and competitor
activities to inform strategic decisions.
Work with clients to establish business goals, develop strategies, and propose appropriate
solutions.
Analyze customer data to identify trends, anticipate client needs, and provide insights for
continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or relevant role.
Experience in managing multiple clients or accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
