Role:
As a UX Designer, collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our target audience. I conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement. To develop front-end code that implements designs and meets accessibility and performance standards, and work with developers to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices and platforms. I stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our target audience
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Create wire-frames, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders
- Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs accordingly
- Develop front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) that implements designs and meets accessibility and performance standards
- Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and that user experience is seamless across all devices and platforms
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and development
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Ideal candidates might have completed Bachelors (or Masters) of Design from institutions like NID
- 0-3+ years of experience in UX design and development
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
