Role & Responsibilities:
- Test Automation: Designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for various application platforms (Web, Mobile, Desktop).
- Bug Management: Creating and managing bug reports, collaborating with the development team to address issues.
- Test Scenarios: Building diverse test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Deployment Support: Working with deployment teams to resolve system-level issues.
Technical Skills Expected:
- Programming: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation.
- Selenium WebDriver: Experience with Selenium for web automation.
- Test Frameworks: Exposure to test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or MSTest.
- Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Familiarity with BDD practices.
- API Testing: Knowledge of API testing.
- Database Testing: Understanding of database testing, including data manipulation.
- Agile and DevOps: Awareness of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Quality Assurance: Understanding of QA methodologies and processes
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in B.E./ B.Tech/ CSE/ MCA or a related computing field is required.
- Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3 to 5 years of experience .
- Actively participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), understanding both development and testing aspects.
- Object-Oriented Design: Strong coding skills and familiarity with object-oriented design.
- Distributed Systems: Knowledge of distributed systems and algorithms.
- Relational Databases: Experience with relational databases.
- Mobile Automation: Familiarity with automation tools and services for mobile platforms.”
