Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager – Finance & Accounting to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end accounting processes, financial statement preparation, and audits, along with a proven track record of managing teams. This role demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.
Responsibilities:
● Manage and oversee the entire accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
● Ensure accurate and timely book closures in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
● Prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
● Monitor adherence to tax and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
● Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to achieve department goals.
● Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance, and identify training opportunities for team members.
● Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
● Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Education & Experience:
● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification preferred.
● 6+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including team management responsibilities.
● Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel.
● Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
● Prior experience in a similar managerial role within a mid-to-large-sized organization.
