TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship is one of India’s fastest-growing blended apprenticeship initiatives, focused on enabling organizations to build scalable, industry-ready, and sustainable talent pipelines. Established as a 100% employer-funded Public-Private Partnership (PPP), the initiative brings together
stakeholders including TeamLease Skills University, TeamLease EdTech, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Since its launch in 2014, the program has enrolled over 1 million apprentices across 1000+ employers, covering 40+ sectors and 150+ job roles. The model combines academic learning with structured on-the-job training to improve employability, workforce productivity, retention, and long-term talent development outcomes. Apprentices completing the program have transitioned into formal employment with notable wage progression.
